On this retreat we will explore the sacred energies of this land.  We will open the week together in an intimate ceremony with a local Shaman who will help us connect to our hearts and ground into this sacred land.  As we dive into our healing retreat program we will work our way through the Chakra system, connecting to a ritual within each Chakra day by day.  As you flow through the week you’ll experience daily all-levels yoga and meditation classes with Angie, Alyssa and Andrea.   We will venture on a privately led trip to see one of the seven wonders of the world, Machu Picchu. You will also have the opportunity to practice in a native Despacho ceremony (Despacho is a prayer bundle or offering with an expression of gratitude to heal physical and emotional ailments, to restore balance and harmony.) We will serve as a community in a forestation project giving back to Pachamama (Mother Earth).  We will take a trip to the town of Pisac Market to shop in the local markets and walk around the cobblestone streets. All meals are included at the beautiful Samadhi Retreat center.  Their dishes are organic, nutritious, healthy and prepared by gastronomic artists-chefs.  You will have plenty of opportunities to relax and immerse yourself in the breathtaking views.

We will be staying at the beautiful Samadhi Retreat Center, located in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Cusco, Peru. The Samadhi Retreat Center’s Mission is to hold space with Love to everyone who arrives, to find your own truth and encourage self-realization. They based this purpose on daily practices of yoga, meditation, art and sustainable food in a space that is comfortable and welcoming where each guest can enjoy these experiences in the Middle of the Andean Mountains. The Sacred Mountains surrounding Samadhi will support you in connecting deeply with your true and unique essence. To get close to the conscious state of the divine, we work in a holistic manner in four forms, yoga, meditation, food awareness, and cultural immersion.

Samadhi’s design was inspired by the seven energy centers of the human body, the chakras.  Designed with Sacred Geometry and united by the path of the Kundalini.  Each bungalow is equipped with chromotherapy in showers, aromatic oils, native flowers, comfortable beds, and ensuites.

Angie (Retreat Lead) - felt the call to Yoga in 1999, which has profoundly changed her life.  She is a Yoga and Meditation Teacher, Founder of Sacred Devotion Retreats and runs Yoga Teacher Trainings at Community Yoga in Loveland, Colorado.  She is a single mama who loves to travel, explore the world, learn from all cultures and create community.  Angie has supported students, communities and clients in deep transformation with love and guidance.  She is currently studying Yoga Therapy and will soon graduate as a Holistic Yoga Therapist.  With over 20 years of experience, she has explored into the deepest levels of healing through the practices of Yoga.  Her travels around the world and to India have taught her about the deepest meanings of life.  Angie has over 3,000 hours of studies and 11 years of teaching.  She is beyond grateful to hold space and facilitate this retreat.

Alyssa (Retreat Co-Lead) - earned her 200hr RYT certificate in the Sacred Valley of Peru, studying and integrating a holistic approach to Yoga. Forever a student, she continues to study this ancient practice on and off the mat. She has since completed over 100 hours of additional training in Thai Yoga Massage and Yin Yoga and is currently enrolled in an Integrative Health and Massage Therapy program. Alyssa strives to hold space for students to find more stillness and spaciousness in their daily lives. Her compassion-centered classes and invitations to listen deeply to your own body creates a welcoming and safe environment for every student to explore within. As an avid traveler of the world, Alyssa is endlessly inspired by the wisdom of nature and the different cultures she’s had the honor of visiting. She is grateful and delighted to help facilitate an easeful and exciting travel experience. Alyssa views every person as a teacher along her path and looks forward to practicing and breathing with you.

Single Occupancy - $2,800 (your own room)

Double Occupancy Room - $2,300 per person (paired with a roommate)

Triple Occupancy Room - $1800 per person (paired with two roommates)

*Your final payment is due 90 days before the retreat begins.

Once you pay your $500 deposit, your spot will be saved, you will receive a welcome email from Angie will all of the details, this is when you can request your room occupancy.

  • International or domestic transportation of any kind (ie- ferries, bikes, taxis, etc)

  • On 7/6/23 we will be staying in Cusco as everyone arrives, your room this evening is not included, suggested hotels below, or ask Alyssa or Ange for details.

  • Travel insurance (highly recommended)

  • Airport shuttle from Cusco airport to hotel in Cusco

  • Optional activities at Samadhi (art therapy, hiking, pottery, massage etc.)

  • Additional hotel bookings (for those arriving early, or staying later)

  • Independent ground transportation (motorbike rental, bicycles, cars, etc)

  • Personal shopping expenses/souvenirs

  • Vaccinations, additional preventative medical needs

  • COVID testing if required
